So, did you know that I was also potty training?! I mean, I am also apparently learning how to potty according to my son. I sat down on the potty while he sat down on his potty and at the end, when I said, "Buddy, I am so proud of you!" with a big smile on my face and clapping, he said, "Mommy, I so proud of you too!"
Also, tonight while he was going I bent down to get a wipe. When I came up I slammed my head on the cabinet door up above and immediately started to tear up. He stood right up and said, "Mommy, you ok?", I said, "No, I hurt my head." He said, "Mommy, I kiss it better" and proceeded to pull my head down and kissed it. He then looked at me and said, "There you go, all better."
I know we say that to them all the time, but seriously! Mine was not truly better, and yet I had to believe it because he said it was, so it must be.
Lessons learned from a two year old.
What a great post--We love the potty training stories and the photos. Thank you for sharing.
