Well, you might all be wondering...what is up with that name? They are weeds, people! We are WEEDS! :)
Michael, April & Noah - One little happy family.
Mike is still working up in Rexburg at the Melaleuca Call Center (the night shift - BOO!) and I am working the day shift at the Idaho Falls Melaleuca Call Center. We love working there and they have been really good to us. Now, we just need to get on the same page with schedules and all will be dandy. Mike is almost done with school, finishing around October! YAY! Go Mike!
Noah goes over to Koala Kids every day and loves it. He just moved up to a new class and that has been a challenge; learning new teachers, being with new kids, learning how to live without a binky. He is STILL definitely a binky kid. If I even start thinking about P O T T Y training I start to panic! EEEK!!
I recently hurt by back so Noah has been coping with the fact that I can't "hold him." Why are there quotations around that you ask? One of his favorite things to say is, "Mommy, I hold you" or "Daddy, I hold you." and that means that he wants us to pick him up and carry him. He is still so very into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The first thing out of his mouth when he wakes up is, "CLUBHOUSE?" Mike and I totally cater to it, because he now has all the plushes of the Mickey gang. I also recently bought a CRICUT cartridge that is MICKEY and FRIENDS...I have yet to use it, but am hoping for something fun out of it.
He can ride his razor scooter all over the place. He scoots along holding one foot up like he is cool. He has watched his cousins Max and Eli and just picked it up. He has a SPIDERMAN helmet to wear when he goes out...I think I am going to have to invest in shin guards. Do they make them for these little ones? He is only 2 after all.
He loves to copycat everything you say right now and "no" is definitely part of his vocabulary. His favorite things right now are coffee (vanilla flavored milk), Batman, Ironman, cars, rocks, and pajamas.
The story of the Ironman - Once upon a time, my husband dropped our mini off to be shaved at the pet place. As they pulled away, my son sniffs once, twice, three times and then yells out, "FRENCH FRIES!" My husband, terrified, called me and told me that I had ruined our son, and then proceeded to take him to the Burger King right across the street from the pet store. While there eating french fries, chicken nuggets, and such, Noah was given an Ironman figurine in his Kid's Meal. There is a button on his chest that you push and his arms and legs fly off (EXPLODING) and Noah loves it. My Ironman, my Ironman!
That's it for now folks! Come back next week for another tantalizing update from Weed Family West - Bramble and Monkey Fower. We are all about the MONKEYS!!!!
Great post Weed Family West. We can't wait to read more.
