How does an entire month fly past and I just realize I haven't posted anything?! Well, here goes quick catch up and then maybe pictures later. Since September 29th we have moved Noah's room to our old room, moved our room to Noah's room, painted our room (it used to have the stripes if anyone remembers), and begun the move of all toys down to a PLAYROOM.
We made a REALLY fun trip to SLC and went to IKEA...I had been saving up my cash for quite some time. We were able to buy a few fun things for Noah's playroom and then also ...wait for it...wait for it...wait for it...NEW DRESSERS!!! Oh my goodness...they open without trying hard, they just glide open, and they aren't too bulky and they are beautiful....AND GET THIS! Mike put them together!!! Miracle of miracles!
So, now the goal is to finish organizing our storage area downstairs, finish the playroom (paint and placement) and then we might have just officially finished moving into this house! WAHOO!
Noah started back up going to Grandma & Grandpa night at my parents house. All the cousins/grandkids get to go over there and all the parents get to LEAVE! He has loved it...quite a few creative crafts out of that bunch of crazy kids. THANKS GRANDMA!!!
We went to the pumpkin patch ... twice...don't ask! We carved some pumpkins, baked some seeds, and Noah LOVED the guts! I think they were everywhere (I will try to post pics later.)
We went and had family pictures taken. That was a blast! I can't wait to do it every year because I love them!
All in this time my sister, Grace Amy, was blessed and saved by God. Her Bronco rolled multiple times on a woodsy highway at night and she was by herself. The Bronco's outcome itself would suggest that she should not have survived like she did. She is amazing and GOD is amazing! She came out of it with just bumps, bruises, strains, and sprains and we all are very grateful to our Lord and Saviour for keeping his loving hands on her. She is an inspiration and a blessing as she continually preaches about God through all of her aches and pains. WE LOVE YOU GRACE AMY MACKES!
Mike also had his birthday during this break of posting! October 15th and he is THIRTY!!! Goodness, what an old fogie now! I would love to say that I LOVE growing older with my husband. It has been a very good thing! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABE!
Hopefully, the next post will not be so far off and not so long! LOVE YOU ALL!
hey! You're hubby and my hubby have the same b-day. How funny!
