Fast Food & Babysitters

This week has been crazy busy!!

Grace (my sister) came into town this week. Sunday we had a birthday party in the evening for her...classic Mackes Mexican food party. Really, it means that we get to eat tacos in the most unhealthy way possible. We fry up the shells, both flour and corn, and then fill them with anything and everything that we can. A select few Mackes' then douse them in vinegar and eat them while they drip! Love you, Dad!

Wednesday night we had sister night and went and saw 'Sex in the City: 2'. It was ok, way to descriptive for Grace's taste, right up Lydia's alley and Susie and I suddenly either were too old to care or could identify with life's challenges a little more! :)

Thursday night was my friend Natalie's baby shower which I was throwing for her...in Rexburg. I think had it been at my house I would have been less stressed, but all of her friends are in Rexburg and it worked out to be really fun in the end. I forget how fun it is to get all that stuff for your little one! Only 3 weeks to go Mrs. Messano!

Friday night...freedom...or so I thought until I was at work until 6:30pm. So, out of guilt that my son had not eaten a normal meal all week long, he got to have breakfast potatoes, french toast, bacon and chocolate milk. Thanks Perkins! HAHAHAHAHA!

Today, we have zoo day to go to, then nap, then Mike has to be up at the call center doing a special event. So, I am going on a "date" with him! :)

Needless to say, it has been a busy week full of fast food, babysitters, and no time to waste! :)

VACATION IN TWO WEEKS!!!!! I cannot wait...and hopefully in that time we get to relax at some point. We will see what the schedule allows.
