Our Knight in Shining Armor

Inspired by the book, "Not A Box" by Antoinette Portis that was read to us at story time the other day, Noah decided that he wanted to make a Knight in Shining Armor outfit.  He told me that he wanted to buy one and I suggested we make one.

As you can see we had a lot of fun (it is quite a bit harder to cut cardboard than mommie knew) being creative...

As I was cleaning up I said, "Mr. Knight in Shining Armor, please finish your apple juice." To which he replied emphatically, "Knights in Shining Armor do NOT eat or drink!"

A few moments later after he had taken off the outfit he came running in and melted my heart with the following statement.

"Oh Mommie, you're the best knight in shining armor maker ever!"
